We want you to be able to relax and not worry about a thing while at the Wedding Film Retreat. Your meals and lodging are covered from Monday evening through Wednesday afternoon. Libations will be provided Monday evening at the welcome reception. Alcohol purchase during the remainder of the event–along with any other incidentals–will be your responsibility.
Each venue has a different requirement for when they need room lists and meal selections, so the deadlines vary. Here are the registration deadlines for each location.
We believe some of the best learning at workshops and conferences happens during small group time and organic conversations. We wanted to create an event around this idea; a place where there is very planned-out educational time, but also time for relaxed discussion, questions, and free sharing of ideas.
Of course you can! You save $200 per person by selecting double occupancy. You can each register separately, or you can register at the same time by increasing the quantity to two when you register. At checkout you’ll have a box where you can type your roommate’s name. NOTE: The Columbus location, The Inn At Honey Run, only has King bedrooms, so while you may certainly still choose double occupancy, keep in mind that sharing a room at this particular location means sharing a King bed. Some rooms there can accommodate a rollaway or daybed, but please email firstname.lastname@example.org first to make sure there is availability.
Totally understand! Email email@example.com and we will provide you with a one-time-use discount code for $100 off of each team member’s registration as a thank you for bringing your crew. NOTE: This cannot be combined with any other special offers or coupon codes, and does not apply to double occupancy.
Definitely! And why wouldn’t you want to? We know these are beautiful spots, perfect for a getaway. The venues don’t all handle this in the same way however, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to stay at the resort longer than the two nights included in your workshop registration.
It’s not required, but you are more than welcome to bring gear with you! We will have a lot of our own gear available during the hands-on time, but you can definitely bring your own equipment for shooting the vignettes/mock wedding details, and anything else you want to shoot around the property.
We suggest a quick check of the good ole’ Farmer’s Almanac for the date and location of whichever workshop you are attending. We’re mixing this up quite a bit… some people will be on a beach, while others will be in a winter wonderland. Plan accordingly.
Come on now, that would ruin all of the fun! Seriously though, because we have structured this as an all-inclusive retreat, you must register for the full event including meals and lodging. Many of the venues are off the beaten path, and we don’t want anyone to miss out on the experience because they’re driving to and from another location.
If you need to cancel with more than 30 days advance notice, you’ll get a refund of 50%. Within 30 days of the event, no refunds will be issued.
Absolutely! When registering, please add a note in the cart or email email@example.com with your requests.
