What is included with registration?

We want you to be able to relax and not worry about a thing while at the Wedding Film Retreat. Your meals and lodging are covered from dinner Sunday through breakfast Thursday. Alcoholic beverages are also included.

What is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is January 10, 2022. Remember we limit our retreats to 30 people and they fill up quickly!

Will I have to take a Covid test or show proof of vaccination?

You do not have to show proof of vaccination or take a Covid test to enter Mexico.  Currently the US does require a negative test taken within ONE day of your flight home to re-enter the country.  We are encouraging attendees to use a CDC approved self-test, purchased before traveling to Mexico.  For those not comfortable with doing a self-test, we will coordinate testing the day before their departure, but each person will be responsible for the cost of their own test.

Can we share a room to save money?

Of course you can! Only three rooms at the villa have two beds, so if you want one of those, once you have your roommate(s) selected, you’ll reach out to us regarding how you want to handle payment and which room you want, and we’ll provide a custom registration link.

Do I get to choose my room?

Yes!  Part of the registration process includes selecting your room.  If you don’t see a room on the registration page, that means it’s already been chosen.

Will I have my own bathroom?

Yes! Every room at the villa has an en-suite bathroom.

What if I want to bring multiple people from one company but not share a room?

Totally understand! Email sarah@weddingfilmretreat.com and we will provide you with a one-time-use coupon code for $100-off of each team member’s registration as a thank you for bringing your crew. NOTE: This cannot be combined with any other special offers or coupon codes, and does not apply to double occupancy.

How do I get to the villa?

We will provide all attendees with the villa’s address.  It’s about a 35-45 minute drive from the Puerto Vallarta airport, and there are always plenty of taxis & Ubers available.  Our past two retreats at the villa, we have coordinated shuttles for those interested.

Should we bring our own camera gear?

It’s not required, but we definitely encourage you to bring your camera if you want to capture some of the beauty and scenery around Puerto Vallarta.  Please remember that Mexico limits you to two camera bodies per person, and if you want to bring a monopod or tripod it will have to be in checked luggage.

Can we attend the workshop but not stay on site?

Come on now, that would ruin all of the fun! Seriously though, because we have structured this as an all-inclusive retreat, you must register for the full event including meals and lodging.

Can I get a refund if I suddenly can't make it?

Tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable. If you can’t attend, we suggest posting in videography forums to find someone to buy your ticket and fill your seat.

I have food allergies. Can you accommodate me?

Absolutely! When registering, please add a note in the cart or email sarah@weddingfilmretreat.com with your requests.
